On this page, I want to call attention to another book in my books by fay list.  This is a lamb cookbook I wrote called "Country Favorites".  The recipes were contributed by Iowa sheep producers and the American Sheep Industry.  Each cut of lamb has a section such as ground, chops, roast, left overs and cooking for a crowd, ect.  Plus there are handy cooking tips and health facts about lamb.  In 113 pages are 347 recipes.  Interested in this book? Try this healthy ground lamb spread.

        Touch Of Summer Lamb Spread
1 (12oz.) lite speadable cream cheese
1/2 cup lite mayonnaise
1/4 lb. ground lamb, cooked and drained
1/3 pkg. Hidden Valley dry dressing mix
2 oz. reduced fat American cheese, shredded
assorted vegetables for topping
assorted low-fat snack crackers
 
Mix all ingredients, except crackers and vegetables. 
Chill. Place 1 tsp. spread on cracker and top with veggies
such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, etc.  May be served
on slices of cucumbers.
